This painting was inspired by a trip I took in a six person boat around Admirality Island in Alaska. We would cruise all day and find a quiet bay to pull into in the evenings to eat and sleep for the night. One morning we woke up with the boat in my painting sitting on the water in front of us. It created a perfectly composed scene! I really enjoy this painting and hope someone else will too.
